The foundation supports the creation of a new theatre piece in Germany, premiering on August 28th in Berlin.
"Die Hüterin [the Guardian] is a play about Ukrainian history and culture. Ukraine is transformed into an immortal woman who relives her life with us until the moment we are now. In the form of an inner monologue supported by music, song and dance, we get to know "The Guardian" during this evening. What are her values and traditions, what causes her pain and what are her desires?
The ensemble consists of artists from Ukraine and Germany.
After the performance there will be an audience discussion. There will be an opportunity to talk with the actresses and the director and ask questions.
