Peace for Art was created two months ago to support Ukrainian art and culture in the current war context. The foundation has already been able to support Ukrainian cultural actors in Ukraine and Europe in various ways, either by providing financial support or by supporting them in their work or research.
We offer here an initial report of our activities after two intense months of concrete actions. These actions include a financial component, essential to support and protect cultural life in Ukraine, but also a very important logistical and organizational component. Our team makes every effort to provide tailor-made solutions to the many artists who contact us. We were able to find and organize artistic residencies in Europe for several artists and help them find temporary accommodation.
We also work for the promotion of Ukrainian art throughout Europe and help the establishment of cultural projects and exhibitions. We are looking forward to writing more about it soon.
